36th Infantry Division Archives:
During the 1960s when the 36th was retired from service, Governor Connelly called for all historical material to be placed in the keeping of our state archives. The material consists of both the official records of the 36th Infantry Division and many donations by private citizens. I certainly dream about a grant and stipend which might allow me to preserve and present those holdings online.
