* Does not include Purple Heart Medals awarded to members of this unit wounded in action, who were hospitalized and subsequently transferred to the Zone of the Interior. In some instances, copies of Gernal Orders issued by the hospitals were forwarded to this heardquarters; however, in a majority of the cases no orders were received.

**June 21, 2000. Washington, D.C. annouced that 20 more Medals of Honor to be presented to the 100th Bat./ 442nd RCT. The 20 receipiants were upgraded from the Distinguised Service Cross.
